Kligat

A kligat

A kligat (sometimes referred to as klugat) was a three-sided bladed weapon used by tribal warriors on planet Capella IV. (TOS episode: "Friday's Child", DS9 - Mission Gamma novels: Cathedral, Lesser Evil)

Upon examining a kligat during a visit to Capella in 2267, Spock noted that the weapon was an admirable design. (TOS novelization: Friday's Child)

During the Dominion War, Admiral Leonard James Akaar often fought the Jem'Hadar with his kligat. (DS9 - Mission Gamma novel: Cathedral)

Starfleet Intelligence officer Rondon won a kligat from a Capellan royal guardsman sometime prior to 2375. (ST - Tales of the Dominion War short story: "Field Expediency")
