The Klingon 4th Frontier Force was a military unit of Imperial Klingon Defense Force starships.
History and specifics[]
In the late 23rd century, the 4th Frontier Force was based out of the military outpost of Kelm in the Zemica system near the Klingon Neutral Zone, which guarded against pirates and smugglers (likely Orions) operating across the Neutral Zone. Since Kelm was such a miserable place, the 4th Frontier Force spent the majority of its time on patrol in space as far away as it could get. (FASA RPG - The Orions module: Book of Common Knowledge)
