The Klingon Threat Eradication Force was a military unit of the Klingon Empire that was active in the 25th century.
History and specifics[]
It was established by Captain Ja'rod, son of Torg in 2409 where they were ordered to Minos Korva after it was discovered that a Federation scientist intended to create a replica ecosystem of the Tribble homeworld that had been destroyed by Klingon orbital bombardment 200 years ago.
In that year, the unit was sent to locate and exterminate all Tribbles from the galaxy along with the goal in preventing Doctor Gregory Jones in his attempts at terraforming a new homeworld for the Tribbles. (STO mission: "The Tribble with Klingons")
