Klingon flintlock musket

The Klingon flintlock musket was the primary hand-held projectile weapon in use on the planet Neural in the later 2260s decade. Because of a Klingon disruption of the native civilization, the design of a basic Klingon musket was provided to the villager people on Neural in exchange for their alliance with the Klingon Empire. To combat the danger to the native peace, the Federation provided training and flintlock muskets of Earth design to the hill people, in order to prevent the Klingon village factions from gaining control of the world.

While the Neural natives had been somewhat primitive, they had sufficient technology to produce numerous examples of this gun based on the design given to them by the Klingons. (TOS episode: "A Private Little War")
