Klinsky was a 23rd century Human man. He served in Starfleet as a security guard aboard the Federation starship USS Enterprise in the 2260s under the command of Captain James T. Kirk.
History[]
In 2267, Klinsky joined a landing party to survey the unexplored planet Hydra Epsilon III. He split up with Commander Spock to scan an unusual mineral deposit. They were lured by the hypnotic scent of a Hydra Epsilon III flytrap, which produced overwhelmingly desirable sensations of favorite foods. Spock was able to fight and clear his head from the hypnotic effects, but by that time Klinsky had been snared and devoured by the carnivorous plant.
