Kol'Vat was a geographic location presumably on the planet Qo'noS. Goqlath Castle, the site of a famous battle, was in Kol'Vat, and the song "The Campaign at Kol'Vat" memorialized that conflict. The ruins at Kol'Vat remained into the 24th century. (TNG novel: Diplomatic Implausibility)
