Kolar's Squadron was a Klingon squadron, a 23rd century Klingon military unit under the command of Thought Admiral Kostantin epetai-Kolor.
Service history and disposition[]
Starfleet considered it one of the Klingon Empire's finest squadrons. It consisted of Kolor's flagship, a D7M K't'inga-class cruiser, as well as a D7A K't'agga-class cruiser and a D7G K't'alla-class cruiser. It also included an S5 Eakin K'nall-class repair tender, as it was able to conduct independent patrols.
Kolar's Squadron was a component of Klingon Battle Group 1 under the command of Admiral Kutan zantai-Lisson.
Circa 2270, on reference stardate 2/1201, the squadron attempted a surprise attack against Starfleet Task Force 41 in Sector Alpha 19, an incident catalogued as Border Incident #45612. The commander of the K't'alla-class decloaked too soon, however, resulting in his ship's destruction and the capture of the K't'agga-class cruiser. Kolar's ship was able to inflict minor damage to the USS Bismarck before it was forced to withdraw. (StarDrive Issue 1: "Tactics of the Imperial Klingon Navy")
