Captain Kolovsky was a 20th century Russian sailor.

Biography[]

In 1986, Kolovsky was in command of a whaling vessel in the Bering Sea when they started hunting the whales known as George and Gracie, but they were soon stopped by the HMS Bounty. Kolovsky would later tell his story to the tabloids, reporting that Bounty was written on the side of the ship.
