Komack was the name of one of three cats owned by Anne Gauvreau and kept aboard the SS Ian Shelton in 2269. Komack was named after Starfleet Admiral James Komack, though Gauvreau noted that her Komack could not keep her from doing as she pleased. (TOS novel: Prime Directive)
