"Koolhaas System Patrol" is a patrol mission in the game Star Trek Online, acquired by entering the Koolhaas system.

Description[]

Mission text: <Rank>, long-range scans of this system indicate that it may contain deposits of decalithium, a rare and valuable mineral used in the creation of red matter.

Starfleet Command considers all deposits of decalithium to be of strategic importance. Our orders are to scan the larger asteroids in this system and determine if there is a sufficient quantity quantity of decalithium for mining.

Sir, the Klingons are aware of the more destructive uses of red matter and decalithium. They are very likely to have detected the deposits in this system as well. We will need to be on your guard.
