Korbus was a Klingon in the 24th century. He was the captain of the IKS JonKa.

In 2378, Korbus led a task force sent to locate the IKV GonDev- a lost bird of prey. During his search, the JonKa was attacked by unknown vessel in Belaruz system. He sent a distress call that was picked up by USS Sovereign. When the Sovereign responded, Korbus insinuated that the unknown vessel may be a secret Starfleet ship meant to attack Klingon Empire. Despite his subtle accusations, he gladly accepted the Sovereign’s help to track down the GonDev. After the GonDev was located, several Cardassian vessels warped in, led by Legate Matan, and attacked the Klingon ships. Korbus was able to fight back the Cardassians with aid of the Sovereign. In gratitude, Korbus told captain of the Sovereign that he fought well, a compliment not often given to humans. He then promised to speak to the Klingon High Council about disclosing information regarding the unknown enemy vessel to Starfleet.

Later, Korbus informed the Sovereign that he wishes to repay his debt, and has information to offer. He took the IKV Mav'jop, a ship borrowed from a friend, to meet with them. Upon meeting, Korbus transferred to the Sovereign, taking Felix Savali’s place at Tactical, with Savali transferring to the Mav’jop in turn. Based on the information he provided, Data, who was also temporarily aboard the Sovereign, concluded that the enemy ships were most likely at the Voltair system. There, Korbus helped the Sovereign defeat some Cardassian vessels before returning to the Mav'jop.

Back aboard the JonKa, Korbus was tasked with bringing a Klingon ambassador to Lyra Station to meet with a Romulan ambassador and the Federation ambassador Saalek. While waiting in orbit, Korbus traded verbal blows with Captain Terrik of the IRW Chairo, which soon turned into physical blows. Korbus was stopped by the Sovereign before he could ram the JonKa into the Chairo. Later, Korbus and the JonKa were aiding Starfleet forces destroy Cardassian tachyon emitters at the Omega Draconis system. (TNG video game: Bridge Commander)
