Korek was a male Klingon who lived by the late 24th century and had risen to the rank of Dahar Master where he trained members of the Honor Guard at the Schools of Great Warriors. When Gowron was appointed Chancellor of the High Council of the Klingon Empire an attempt was made against his life by a conspiracy within the government. Unknown to anyone at the time, Korek was actually working with the traitors in the elimination of Gowron until the truth of his betrayal was uncovered by a warrior from the Honor Guard.
