Korven was a Cardassian man. He was a Legate in the Cardassian Guard. Among his assignments were Bajor during the Occupation and Sarpedion V, where he led the Cardassian Twelfth Order. He was also a leader of the True Way.
After the True Way attempted to bomb an Obsidian Order facility on Bajor, Elim Garak launched an investigation into Korven, with Korven narrowly avoiding being executed. The True Way reformed after the Dominion War and Garak went to see Korven again. Korven was opposed to Alon Ghemor's democratic government.
