A korvit (tlhIngan Hol: qorvIt) is a type of animal lifeform native to Qo'noS, but which can also be found on the planet Pheben III.[1] It is considered a pest to the farmers of those worlds, as it will chew through fencing and eat crop plants such as hurkik. Footnotes[]

  1. First mentioned in A Burning House, korvits were one assumed to be native to Pheben III. However, in The Klingon Art of War, it is mentioned that they were present on Qo'noS during the age of Kahless the Unforgettable, long before the Klingons became a spacefaring species. Author Keith R.A. DeCandido has suggested that these are the same species, likely transplanted to Pheben III when the Klingons colonized it.[1]
