For other uses, see Koval.

Koval was a 23rd century Klingon man who rose to become Chancellor of the High Council of the Klingon Empire at least in the year 2267.

Biography[]

In the 23rd century, he served at head of the Klingon House of Koval. He succeeded Orak in the year 2267. (ST reference: Federation: The First 150 Years)

In 2267, while Koval was in the Great Hall, the Organian Ayelborne materialized before him to announce the cessation of the Federation-Klingon War of 2267. Koval reached for a bat'leth, and when it was too hot to touch, tried grabbing Ayelborne, with similar results. Ayelborne then materialized a disc in Koval's hand containing the contents of the Organian Peace Treaty. Via viewscreen, Koval and the Federation President discussed how they might sign the document.

Some time prior to 2293, Koval had been succeeded by B'rak.

Mogh, son of Worf was one of Koval's descendants. (ST reference: Federation: The First 150 Years)
