Kozor was a simulated Klingon male in Starfleet Academy simulations in the 23rd century.
In the 2250s during a run of the Kobayashi Maru scenario, Kozor was the commanding officer of the IKS Kh'yem. After inflicting significant damage on the USS Potemkin, he was contacted by "Captain" James T. Kirk. Because the cadet had reprogrammed the scenario, Kozor and his ship instantly assisted Kirk in locating the SS Kobayashi Maru. (TOS novel: The Kobayashi Maru)
