The Kramp'Ihri was a male, goat-like Fek'Ihri chieftain created by q to work in the Winter Wonderland in the early 25th century. His purposed was to engage q's guest in ultimately harmless combat. (STO - Agents of Yesterday mission: "The Kramp'Ihri")

Origin and appearance[]

Each year, q added a new event to engage and entertain his guests, Alpha Quadrant Alliance commanding officers. In W.W. 2017, q drew inspiration from Earth mythology originating from the Europe continent. According to folklore, the half-demon, half-goat Krampus carried a bundle of birch branches to punish naughty children by swatting them. The sack on his back was filled with coal. Saint Nicholas was the counterpart to Krampus, rewarding good children.

To improve the legend by making it more dangerous, and frightening to non-Terrans, q fused his Krampus with the demons of the Klingon Empire, the Fek'Ihri of Gre'thor, to create the goat-like Kramp'Ihri and his associates.

Kramp'Ihri's legs ended in hooves. He wore a brown vest and loincloth, with a chain-like mesh covering the chest. Huge horns grew from the forehead. (ARC website: Q's Winter Wonderland - Face the Kramp'Ihri!)

History[]

Kramp'Ihri, his tortured elves and the Kramp'Ihri Watcher first appeared in the Winter Wonderland in W.W. 2017, 2410. Kramp'Ihri searched the land for naughty children and would drop presents containing winter commodities, captured Gingerbread people or more tortured elves. Kramp'Ihri would appear and disappear several times, and his arrival was announced to everyone in range by the Kramp'Ihri Watcher, a devoted Fek'Ihri ravager. The AQA would hunt and engage Kramp'Ihri and his tortured elves through the wonderland, trying to chase him when he turned to smoke and wafted elsewhere. Kramp'Ihri's attacks included throwing a sack over attacking captains, holding them, and using a black nanopulse Mek'leth. In return, the captains employed winter- and candy-themed weapons that were harmless outside of the Winter Wonderland. Following his defeat and temporary disappearance, the Kramp'Ihri Watcher debriefed the AQA chasers on their performance. (STO - Agents of Yesterday mission: "The Kramp'Ihri")

A pet version of the Kramp'Ihri, the Kramp'Ihrii, was sold to visiting captains by the holiday item vendor in the gazebo. (STO - Agents of Yesterday mission: "Fastest Game on Ice")

In W.W. 2019, still 2410 in Federation reckoning, Kramp'Ihri became the captain of the IKS Fe'rang dreadnought. (STO - Q's Winter Wonderland mission: "Fastest Game on Ice", loading screen). The ship was soon seized by the Alpha Quadrant Alliance, and could be deployed by Allied admiralty. (STO - Q's Winter Wonderland mission: "Fastest Game on Ice", admiralty system)
