Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

Kras was a Klingon male who served in the Klingon Defense Force in the mid-23rd century. Like many of his fellow Klingons, Kras was a QuchHa' because of lingering effects of the Qu'Vat virus. (ENT episode: "Divergence"; ST reference: The Star Trek Encyclopedia, 4th Edition)

In 2267, Kras was sent to Capella IV to obtain permission for the Klingon Empire to gain mining rights to the planet's topaline. In order to curry favor and possibly obtain the rights, Kras supported Maab's revolt against Teer Akaar. However, Kras later betrayed Maab and murdered him with a hand phaser. Kras was killed immediately afterward by Maab's lieutenant, Keel. (TOS episode: "Friday's Child")
