Krav Maga is a form of hand-to-hand combat developed in Israel in the 20th century. It was mainly used by the Israel Defense Forces although soon spread to organizations of other countries.
Michael Fuller was trained in Krava Maga and tought it to David Parmet in 2267. Fuller felt Krav Maga would give Parmet a better chance in a fight against Klingons. (TOS - Errand of Fury novel: Seeds of Rage)
