The Krenim patrol ship was a small warship with very limited armament which are used by the Krenim people attempting to retake their fallen empire after the Zahl dismantled their fleet. These vessels are more of harassment for any passing vessel which are unaffected by Krenim weapons. During temporal incursions caused by the Krenim temporal weapon ship, the ship was transformed into a warship. (VOY episode: "Year of Hell")
