Zef'No

Zef'no, a Kressari.

The Kressari are a spacefaring civilization from the planet Kressari, a homeworld located somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. (ST reference: Star Charts)

History and specifics[]

Biology[]

Since their reptilian skin is not as flexible as most other humanoids, Kressari express emotional states through changes in the colors of the irises of their eyes. These colors include black, white, blue, violet and vermillion, with each color denoting a different emotional state. The colors can also combine, with one surrounding another in concentric rings, to express more complex emotions. (DS9 novels: Fearful Symmetry, The Soul Key)

History[]

In the year 2354, Darrah Mace made a rendezvous with the Kressari. (ST - Terok Nor novel: Night of the Wolves)

The Kressari waged a war with the Subytt in the mid-24th century. The Federation mediated the end of the conflict. (TNG - Perchance to Dream comic: "To Take Arms Against a Sea of Troubles")

The Kressari do not possess a military and are known as traders of botanical DNA. However, in 2370, the Cardassians used the Kressari to smuggle weapons to the Circle as a way to destabilize Bajor and keep their involvement secret. (DS9 episodes: "The Circle", "The Siege")

Gul Benil was suspected to have connections to the Kressari. (CCG set: Rules of Acquisition[citation needed])

As a lieutenant, Liam O'Donnell once spent time among the Kressari. He married Alana and the two were married by the High Anointed. (VOY novel: Children of the Storm)
