Biography[]
By the year 2270, Kronin was a member of Starfleet and served as the low watch navigator aboard the Federation starship USS Cochise.
When the Cochise discovered a suspected intergalactic gate phenomena, Captain Jeremiah Chandler took over the bridge from the low watch crew, and ordered Kronin to snap the deflector shields on at will if there was any change in the sensors. (TOS novel: The Final Nexus)
