Kylor (Romulan)

Kylor was a male Romulan in the 24th and 25th centuries. From the late 2400s decade onwards, he worked as foreman on the New Romulus colony. (STO - New Romulus mission: "Staging Area")

History[]

Kylor told about himself that he was proud never to have served in the military and bent knee to the "so-called" empress, Sela. He had been a worker all his life, moving cargo and digging in mines.

In the year 2387, Kylor got stuck in the Rator star system, and was a vagabond afterwards. When he started to hear D'Tan, he found the leader of the Unification movement made sense. Kylor became an ally of D'Tan.

When New Romulus was colonized by the Romulan Republic iun 2409, Kylor became the foreman at the staging area just outside the gates to the New Romulus city. As such, he delegated tasks to both Romulan and visiting workers. (STO - New Romulus mission: "Staging Area")

Starfleet Admiral Valoth and Klingon Defense Force General K'vera, liaisons to Proconsul D'Tan, directed their officers, arriving to provide aid to the colony, to Foreman Kylor for briefing. (STO - New Romulus mission: "Lending a Hand")

In his role as foreman, Kylor gave a briefing and visual tour of the area around the colony to visiting officers. He also provided them with specific tasks in the staging area. These included performing maintenance on the Kestrel-class runabouts on the shuttle landing pad, scanning radiation, spraying vihranen swarms with pesticide, collecting reports, and motivating New Romulan workers. Personality[]

Kylor had a "blue-collar" view on life but fully subscribed to D'Tan's vision of a reformed New Romulan people, united and equal between Romulans and Remans.

By 2409, he thought of himself as "too old" and "too busy" to be "yapping about the past." (STO - New Romulus mission: "Staging Area")
