Kyo-Ina was a female Donican who served as a spokesperson for the Donico Decorum and Diplomacy Corps in 2267. She tried to convince the crew of the USS Enterprise there was no crisis on Donico II, before Montgomery Scott was arrested for insisting that the planetary power Grid was in danger of collapsing. Kyo-Ina was later kidnapped by members of the FreeSpeakers, in retaliation for Scott's arrest. After news of the Grid's condition was finally revealed to the public, Kyo-Ina was released.
