L. T. Stone (also known as David Stone or Aaron Stone or Robert Stone) was a male Human Starfleet officer who served during the 23rd century.

Commodore Stone was one of the few Starfleet officers to have attained the position of starship captain before going on to serve in the operations division as the portmaster of Starbase 11. It was in this position that he presided over the court martial of James T. Kirk in 2267. (TOS episode & Star Trek 2 novelization: Court Martial)

In 2268, Commodore Stone was called to attend a secret meeting along with Robert Wesley, Phil Waterston, Nick Silver, and José Mendez, by Captain Kirk to discuss the activities of Section 31. (TOS - Section 31 novel: Cloak)

In 2269, Commodore Stone was back in command of Starbase 11. (TOS novel: Vulcan!)

He was later promoted to admiral. (TOS - Unlimited comic: "Action of the Tiger")
