L2 Puppis was a star system, a giant star visible from Earth in the constellation of Puppis, located in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, near the 24th century boundaries of Federation space.

In the first half of the 24th century, L2 Puppis was the location of one of the near-Earth courses where Jean-Luc Picard enjoyed flying solar sail spacecraft. (TNG - Ill Wind comic:[citation needed])
