La Forge was a 22nd century Human Starfleet crewperson serving aboard the Federation starship USS Constitution in the 2160s. La Forge was an ancestor of Geordi La Forge.
La Forge and the Constitution had fought in the Federation-Tarn War. Durring this conflict the Constitution was lured into a trap by a false distress call where a Tarn ship attacked killing 200 crewmembers. La Forge was one of the crewmembers killed. (TNG novel: The Forgotten War)
