Lam Qaf Kha II

Lam Qaf Kha II was a planet, the second planet of the Lam Qaf Kha system, located in Federation space in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

History and specifics[]

In the 23rd century, Lam Qaf Kha II was uninhabited, class M and suitable for colonization. It was nine light years away from the Ayin Aleph system and in the general vicinity of the Omicron Theta system.

In 2277, the USS Enterprise relocated descendants of the hive-minded, insectoid chitik who survived the Second Great War on Omicron Theta V as a slave race to the humanoid Tarachi. Spock selected Lam Qaf Kha II as a suitable planet for them to colonize and reclaim their freedom. (TOS - Star Trek II Short Stories short story: "The Secret Empire")
