Lana Shemry was a Starfleet crewmember who was assigned to the USS Enterprise under the command of Captain James T. Kirk in the 2260s.
In 2267, Shemry joined a landing party which were assigned to survey a previously uncharted planet. During the mission the party encountered difficulty, and Shemry was unfortunately killed. The party's leader, Lieutenant Kevin Riley, blamed himself for Shemry's death and applied for a transfer off the Enterprise shortly after. (TOS novel: The Lost Years)
