A laser inducer was a laser technology that was a catalytic component of certain types of fusion reactors and power generation devices.

History and specifications[]

Specifically, the sodium reactors built by the Cardassian Union in the 24th century incorporated laser inducers. (DS9 - Malibu Issue 9 comic: "Requiem II")
