Lateri was star, a yellow class G dwarf star with an associated system. The Lateri system was located in the Trill sector and Alpha Quadrant sector block of the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant. Lateri hosted two planets. (STO - Cardassian Struggle mission: "Patrol the Lateri System")

Location[]

This system was located within the Trill sector, assigned to the larger Alpha Quadrant sector block in the year 2409. The Trill sector was located between 20 and 40 lightyears from Sol, on the border with the Cardassian Union. (STO - Cardassian Struggle mission: "Patrol the Lateri System")

History[]

By the 25th century, the two planets of the Lateri system remained uninhabited. The Lateri asteroid belt was rich in uridium and attracted miners from throughout the region.

In the aftermath of the Dominion War, Gul Madred acquired the mineral rights and later licensed them to the Janus Mining Corporation.

Bu the year 2409, the Orion Syndicate had established an illegal mining operation in the Lateri system. Allied forces dispatched a starship to eliminate the five Orion mining stations at Lateri. (STO - Cardassian Struggle mission: "Patrol the Lateri System")
