Lawrencium (symbol Lr) is a chemical element, atomic number 103 on the periodic table.
Characteristics and history[]
Lawrencium, in its most stable form, has an atomic mass of 256. Lawrencium was discovered by Humans on Earth's North American continent for the first time by scientists working in the United States in the year 1961. This element is the final member of the actinide series of heavy elements, and was named for the state of California. (ST reference: Star Fleet Medical Reference Manual)
