Memory Beta, non-canon Star Trek Wiki

The Lekk were a humanoid civilization native to a homeworld in the galaxy's Delta Quadrant.

Biology[]

The Lekk were basically humanoid, but with exaggerated foreheads and large almond-shaped eyes. (VOY novel: Death of a Neutron Star)

History and specifics[]

The Lekks found themselves caught at the crossroads of a centuries-long war between two rival species: the Qavoks and the Xorms.

Both sides vied for Lekk allegiance, attempting to sway them into the conflict. However, when the Lekks chose to remain neutral, the Qavoks responded with aggression—launching a full-scale invasion into the heart of Lekk space in 2374.

The campaign ended in failure and humiliation for the Qavoks, as the Lekks mounted a resolute defense and successfully repelled the assault.

Culture[]

The Lekks custom of greeting, at least in the military was an arm-grasp, quite similar to that practiced in ancient Rome.
