The Leonardo (NCC-1701/7) (I) was a Class F shuttlecraft assigned to the USS Enterprise in the 2260s. It had the registry number NCC-1701/7, the same as that of Galileo.
History[]
In 2266, the Leonardo saw action on an unlogged asteroid. A combat team was dispatched in Leonardo in case of trouble, then the vessel fired phasers and wrecked three large pieces of mining equipment used to extract tri-faxichologenic acid. The shuttlecraft was impacted by a large boulder thrown by Klwama and crashed to the surface on stardate 2811.7, completely wrecked.
Its replacement, the Leonardo (II), was immediately pressed into service. (TOS comic: "And a Child Shall Lead Them")
