Leslie Wong was a 24th century Human woman, an officer of the Federation Starfleet.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Wong graduated from Starfleet Academy in the class of 2358. By 2366, she served as an instructor at the Academy. Jadzia Dax was among her students. (ST comic: "Captain's Log: Jellico", DS9 episode: "In the Pale Moonlight", ST video game: Starship Creator)

In 2368, Wong, a commander, concluded her tour at the Academy and requested assignment to Starbase 375. Instead, she was posted to the USS Cairo as executive officer to Captain Edward Jellico. (ST comic: "Captain's Log: Jellico")

She was at first taken aback by Jellico's command style and policies, but she quickly came to respect his abilities. Jellico, in turn, was impressed by her work, and appreciated her adherence to protocol. (ST comic: "Captain's Log: Jellico")

She was promoted to captain by 2374, when she served as commanding officer of the Cairo. She was aboard the Cairo when it disappeared while on patrol near the Romulan Neutral Zone assigned to service during the Dominion War. A file from USS Akagi reported Captain Wong missing in action. A file from USS Zapata reported her killed. (DS9 episodes: "In the Pale Moonlight", "What You Leave Behind")
