Levinius (or Lavinius) was a star system, located somewhere in the space of the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants. (TOS - Crucible novel: Provenance of Shadows)

History and specifics[]

Star charts plotting the invasion route of blastoneuron parasites through the system showed Levinius to be in treaty boundary quadrant 1 in the general vicinity of Upsilon Mensae and Gamma Cygni. It was also visible projected through a quadrant 4 south star chart in the vicinity of Epsilon Pegasi and Gamma 7.

Levinius was a B type or O type blue star found at coordinates 140.7, 11.1, -10.4. The Levinius system's orbit was the location of ten planets. (ST reference: Star Trek Maps)

Its worlds included the inhabited fifth planet Levinius V. (TOS episode: "Operation -- Annihilate!")

It was located not far from Starbase 27 and Calydon. (TOS comic: "A Small Matter of Faith")

The Loknar-class frigate USS Lavinius was named for the system.
