See T'su for other articles with titles that contain, either by relationship or by coincidence, this character's surname.

Lian T'su was a Human female who served in Starfleet in the 24th century.

The daughter of Mei and Chan T'su, Lian was born in the city of Hong Kong on Earth in 2342. She eventually went on to follow in her father's footsteps and entered Starfleet Academy in 2360, finally graduating in the 99th percentile, and third in her class in 2364. One of the contributing factors to her high marks, was the year she spent as a student instructor where she taught geophysics and natural complexity theory.

Following her graduation, Ensign T'su was assigned to the USS Enterprise-D as a relief operations manager. In late 2364, T'su served as operations officer on the battle bridge during the Enterprise's mission to rescue Captain Jean-Luc Picard and an away team from the planet Minos. (ST video game: Starship Creator; TNG episode: "The Arsenal of Freedom")

After spending a further two years aboard the Enterprise, T'su was promoted to lieutenant, junior grade in 2366 and was assigned to the USS Tolstoy as senior operations manager. Several months later, the Tolstoy was one of 39 starships that engaged and were destroyed by the Borg at the Battle of Wolf 359. Fortunately, T'su managed to survive and her quick actions led to the survival of 100 additional crewmen, which she was later rewarded with a promotion to full lieutenant.

In early 2367, T'su was assigned as chief operations officer on Deep Space 5, and was tasked with completing work on a new terraforming protocols for the Federation Science Council. In 2369, T'su was awarded the Zee-Magnees Prize for her terraforming research.

In 2368, T'su transferred to the USS Budapest to serve as senior operations officer. After serving with distinction in the Battle of Sector 001 in 2373, T'su was field promoted to lieutenant commander and appointed as second officer. (ST video game: Starship Creator)

By 2376, T'su had been promoted to captain and served as commanding officer of the USS Orion. In that year, the Orion was assigned to test the Wildfire device on the gas giant planet, Galvan VI. Captain T'su and her crew were later killed in the resulting Galvan IV incident. (SCE eBook: Wildfire, Book 1)
