The Liberator was a Mishka-class starship used by the Maquis and commanded by Cal Hudson. In 2371, when Starfleet officer Tuvok acted to infiltrate the Maquis, he turned himself over to the crew of the Liberator. Soon thereafter, the Liberator responded to a distress call from the Geronimo, the Maquis ship commanded by Chakotay. (novel: The Brave and the Bold)
