On the holodeck in 2364, Jean-Luc Picard visited Joe's San Francisco newsstand, which was selling copies of Life in the Dixon Hill holonovel The Big Good-Bye. Issues on display included the 10 February and 17 February 1941 editions of the magazine. (TNG episode: "The Big Goodbye")
