Commander Ling was a female Starfleet officer in the 24th century. As of 2376, she was commanding officer of Avril Station. In that year, she coordinated with Commander Sonya Gomez of the Starfleet Corps of Engineers regarding the system upgrades she and her team were to complete on the station. Following the departure of the USS da Vinci, Ling had to contact Gomez again, to report widespread crashes around the station. (SCE eBook: Security)
