Linzi Hautala was a 23rd century Human woman, a medical doctor stationed at Starfleet Medical in San Francisco on Earth.

Biography[]

By the early 2270s decade, Hautala was in her mid- to late thirties. She had dark hair and a lanky physique.

In the year 2273, Hautala served as chief ob-gyn officer at Starfleet Medical. Hautala was on duty when Susan Ling was brought in with what Ling thought were severe Braxton Hicks contractions, but actually were signs that her daughter Demora Sulu was about to be born four and a half months premature. Hautala alerted the father, Hikaru Sulu, assured him that mother and daughter were being well cared for, and took him to the neonatal intensive care unit so that he could meet Demora.
