Liph was a male Ferengi and a member of the Economic Congress of the Ferengi Alliance until 2376.
Ishka discovered that Liph had been diverting public money intended for disaster relief and used it to make a poor investment in quadrotriticale on Sherman's Planet. Grand Nagus Rom later dismissed Liph from the Economic Congress. Unfortunately, Brunt took the seat in the Congress vacated by Liph.
