Lisarion was a planet located in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants, near the border of the Federation and the Klingon Empire. Lisarion was the homeworld of the Lisarionite civilization.

History and specifics[]

Lisarion was primarily a center of agriculture, with a number of crop plants that included grain that had applications as medicine. By the late 24th century, the planet remained non-aligned despite its proximity to the Federation and Klingons and was not frequently visited by outsiders.

Around the year 2369, Nikolai Rozhenko visited the world and spent some time residing in a small community where he gained the respect of the local population. During the time that Rozhenko visited the world, there was an attack by Klingon pirates seeking the medicinal value of the planet's crops. The inhabitants of the community were all killed, and Rozhenko was presumed dead.

The Lisarionites attempted to notify Rozhenko's family, and invited them to a memorial service in the destroyed community. (TNG - Shadowheart comic: "The Lion and the Lamb")
