Lorealyn is a star system that was located in the Federation-Klingon Neutral Zone, somewhere in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrants.
History and specifics
The Lorealyn system's orbit was the location of a number of worlds, noted in the late 23rd century by the Federation to contain crystal deposits useful for transwarp propulsion research. (FASA RPG module: Star Trek IV Sourcebook Update)
In the year 2270, Federation Ambassador Carlos Rivera traveled to the system in hopes of convincing the system's inhabitants into joining the United Federation of Planets. (FASA RPG - Adventure Book module: In the Presence of My Enemies)
