The Lorenze Cluster was a region of space, a star cluster located in the galaxy's Alpha or Beta Quadrant. (TNG movie: Generations)

History and specifics[]

The Lorenze Cluster contained the planet Minos. In the year 2364, the Federation starship Enterprise-D traveled to the Lorenze Cluster to investigate the disappearance of the USS Drake. (TNG episode: "The Arsenal of Freedom")

While the Enterprise-D was traveling to and from 'aucdet IX, early in 2365, the Cluster was visible from Ten Forward. Wesley Crusher pointed out the Lorenze Cluster to Guinan. (TNG episode: "The Child")

The location of the Lorenze Cluster was on the star chart that Picard and Data reviewed in stellar cartography aboard the Enterprise-D in 2371. (TNG movie: Generations)
