Lorian was the son of T'Pol and Charles Tucker III who, in an alternate timeline, commanded the Enterprise (NX-01). He was half-Vulcan on his mother's side and half-human on his father's. (ENT episode: "E²")
Biography[]
In the year 2186, he was living with his parents and older sister, T'Mir, in outer ShiKahr on Vulcan. A reporter who encountered him thought he was about 16 years old at the time. He had tousled blond hair, a fair complexion and lacked the upswept brows of full-blooded Vulcans, though he had pointed ears. He was bored by his discussion with the reporter.
Most people were under the impression that T'Mir and her brother Lorian were the offspring of T'Pol and her former husband, Koss, with whom T'Pol had supposedly reconciled. In actuality, Trip lived with his family and used the alias Michael Kenmore. (ENT novel: To Brave the Storm)
Alternate timeline[]
On an alternate version of the Enterprise (NX-01) that had been thrown back in time to the year 2037, Lorian was the adult son of T'Pol and Charles Tucker III and the current commanding officer of the ship by 2154. (ENT episode: "E²")
The name “Lorian” came from Lórien, the Elvish forest in JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
