Louis Jago was a 23rd century Human man. He served as CO of the Federation guardship Dorado in 2265.

History[]

Though he made sure his superiors were satisfied, Jago mistreated his small crew and encouraged similar behavior from his officers.

In 2265, during an assembly with all hands, Jago assigned the crew to double shifts, then punished crewman Duncan with ten days of solitary confinement in the brig for having a dour expression. It was the last straw, spurring crewman Erhard Voss to incite a mutiny. Jago and five of his officers were kicked off the ship in a class F shuttlecraft. (TOS comic: "Mutiny on the Dorado")

Jago and his crew did not wear Starfleet uniforms and appeared to serve in a non-Starfleet border patrol service.
