Biography[]
In 2153, Romero was in Major Joss Hayes' company as a private that was assigned to the Enterprise during the Xindi crisis in the Delphic Expanse.
Romero participated in several engagements during the mission to find the Xindi superweapon. In February 2154, he was one of the few MACO volunteers chosen by Lieutenant Malcolm Reed to join the mission to board the Xindi weapon. (ENT episodes: "Countdown", "Zero Hour")
In late-May of that year, Romero was among the MACO group who accompanied Captain Jonathan Archer aboard Cold Station 12 during the Augment engagement and survived the Augment's bio-attack throughout the facility. (ENT episode: "The Augments")
In November, Romero was among the MACOs in the launch bay who welcomed the Tellarite envoys on board Enterprise. Later while guarding the quarters of the Tellarite ambassadors, Romero was shot unconscious by an Andorian officer. (ENT episode: "Babel One")
