Mae Darwin was a human Starfleet officer in the late 2250s to the mid 2260s of the Kelvin timeline. (TOS movie & novelization: Star Trek Into Darkness; TOS - Boldly Go comic: "Issue 1")
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 2259, she replaced Ensign Pavel Chekov as navigator when the later was promoted to Chief Engineer. She remained on the USS Enterprise during the hunt for John Harrison and the subsequent battle with USS Vengeance. When the Enterprise began falling towards Earth, Darwin followed Lt. Sulu in defying Commander Spock's orders to abandon ship. However, she and the rest of the crew were saved when Captain Kirk realigned the warp core. Darwin then said that it was miracle, despite Spock saying there was no such things. (TOS movie & novelization: Star Trek Into Darkness)
Following the destruction of the Enterprise at Altamid in 2263, Darwin was then assigned to the USS Endeavour. She continued there as navigator when Captain Kirk took command of the ship. (TOS - Boldly Go comic: "Issue 1")
