In his annotations, Christopher L. Bennett, the author of Forgotten History, had this to say about the aliens seen in Journey to Babel:
- I have assumed that Makus III (the destination of the medical supplies in "The Galileo Seven") is the homeworld of the tall, dark-skinned, robed and hooded ambassadors seen in the same episode.
In Star Trek Online, the species was called Zambeans.
