The Makusians[1], also known as Zambeans[3], were a humanoid species from Makus III.

History and specifics[]

Makusians were characterised by their tall stature, dark brown skin and wing-like, back-swept ears. They were known for their friendly, open warmth when interacting with others. (DTI novel: Forgotten History)

In his annotations, Christopher L. Bennett, the author of Forgotten History, had this to say about the aliens seen in Journey to Babel:

I have assumed that Makus III (the destination of the medical supplies in "The Galileo Seven") is the homeworld of the tall, dark-skinned, robed and hooded ambassadors seen in the same episode.

In Star Trek Online, the species was called Zambeans.
